Course Booking Terms & Conditions
Provisional Bookings
Facts Training will only hold provisional course bookings for 10 days, if booking confirmation has not been received after this period then available dates can not be guaranteed.

Attendance
Please remember that the duties of a First Aider or Appointed Person can at times be demanding, it is the important that suitable candidates are selected to be trained for these roles.  Participants should arrive promptly for the start of the session and must stay for the duration of the course in order to be entitled to a certificate.  Our instructors will give as much support as possible to enable participants to complete their course, however if a participant fails to complete a course or is unable to reach the standard required to pass the course no refund will be given. 

Training Facilities
The facilities provided by the client must conform to current health and safety requirements in respect of ventilation, light, access etc and there must be appropriate seating available for all participants.  As this is a practical course the room provided needs to be large enough to accommodate the group size concerned when seated with additional floor space available for practical demonstrations. We reserve the right to cancel a course if the facilities provided are deemed to be unsuitable by the instructor, in this instance the customer will be liable for any costs incurred and cancellation fees.

Cancellation
We would prefer not to charge any of our customers for course cancellations and if you just wish to postpone your course to a later date and rebook another course we may be able to waive any cancellation fees.  Course cancellations must be notified as soon as possible, if a course is cancelled within 14 days of the start date the following cancellation charges will apply:
7 to 14 days notice 50% of the full course cost
less than 7 days notice 100% of the full course cost. 
Where the customer provides the training venue we reserve the right to cancel a course if the facilities provided are deemed to be unsuitable for the purpose, in this instance the customer will be liable for any cancellation costs incurred. 

Payment
Payment terms are strictly 30 days net from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing with Facts Training Ltd and we reserve the right to withhold course certificates until payment for the course has been made in full.  Facts Training Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue accounts at 3% above the base rate of NatWest Bank Plc until the date of payment.  The client agrees to pay any reasonable expenses incurred by Facts Training Ltd in pursuing the recovery of outstanding debts.  The client shall not be entitled to set off or deduct any amount from any invoice unless agreed in writing.  The client shall  indemnify Facts Training Ltd for any loss or expenses caused as a result of inaccurate information being provided.  Facts Training Ltd shall not be liable for any loss resulting from any cause beyond their reasonable control.
If the client becomes bankrupt or enters into liquidation, administration, administrative receivership, ceases or threatens to cease trading, Facts Training Ltd is entitled to cancel any outstanding contracts and/or suspend further deliveries or services without liability and any outstanding invoices will become immediately due.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.  In the event that one or more clauses of these terms and conditions becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

The booking of a course indicates acceptance of the above stated terms and conditions.
