Course Overview:
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
Deal with an unconscious casualty
Deal with an adult or child who is choking
Carry out resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children
Control bleeding and manage shock
Recognise and deal with a range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care
Maintain first aid records
Use and maintain first aid kits

This first aid course leads to a nationally recognised HSE approved first aid qualification valid for 3 years, an annual half day update is recommended by the HSE.
