CIEH Level 2 Award In Food Safety In The Workplace
The Level 2 Awards in Food Safety are designed to be sector specific for staff working in Catering, Food Manufacture or Retail. It is relevant to all catering operations including pubs, hotels, restaurants, fast food outlets, contract caterers, hospitals, schools, care and nursing homes and prisons as well as food manufacturers and food retail businesses. The course will allow staff to recognise and apply the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice and for businesses to fulfil their legal obligations.
CIEH Principles Of Manual Handling
This three hour course is aimed at those who carry out manual handling activities at work and introduces participants to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and controls available and what to expect from a manual handling assessment. Successful completion will prepare participants to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer methods and tasks, in co-operation with their supervisors.
