HSE First Aid at Work Requalification Course - 2 Days
Fully approved and recognised by the Health & Safety Executive this is an update course covering a wide range of first aid incidents and illnesses and practical instruction in CPR. There is a final practical assessment at the end of the course leading to a renewal of certificate valid for a further 3 years, a half day annual update of practical skills is recommended by the HSE.

Course Overview:
At the end of the course students will be able to:
Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
Deal with an unconscious casualty
Carry out resuscitation (CPR)
Control bleeding and manage shock
Recognise and deal with a broad range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care
Be aware of any updates in practice or legislation
Maintain records
Use and maintain first aid kits
Course certification:
HSE Approved First Aid At Work Certificate.
A nationally recognised first aid qualification.
Valid for 3 years.
An annual update is recommended.
