Workstation & VDU Safety Course - £24.95 + vat per person.
This is an awareness course for people who regularly work with display screen equipment (DSE). The law for working with VDUs is covered by The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, these regulations apply to any staff who habitually work with VDUs. Employers must minimise risks from working with VDUs and that means ensuring employees have good training, work in a well designed workplace and have well planned job tasks.
The course is broken down into an introduction, four modules and a workstation self assessment. The self assessment produces a report which the employer can use to identify problems with staff workstations or VDUs.
The course is completed online, a broadband internet connection and headphones or speakers will be needed, each learner is given their own login and password. The course uses audio visual, interactive animation to enable delivery in an enjoyable and refreshing format. It takes approximately one and a half hours to complete and progress can be saved as you go, enabling you to return to it later and start where you left off.
