Our one day Emergency First Aid at Work for Schools course is designed to enable participants to attain the knowledge and skills needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations to be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations in a school environment. This course complies with current guidelines from the HSE for first aid training and will ensure employers fulfil the legal responsibilities of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course is delivered by our team of professional first aid instructors and includes lots of practical first aid scenarios for both adults and children including management of an unconscious casualty and safe use of an AED.

The Emergency First Aid At Work For Schools course is suitable for primary and secondary schools and those working in voluntary and community activities where children are present.
Acting safely and effectively in an emergency situation
Treatment of an unconscious casualty
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) of adults and children
Safe use of an AED
Wounds and bleeding
Use of first aid equipment
Duration: 1 day
Certification: Successful participants will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for 3 years.
Additional information: All course materials and first aid handbook for each participant are provided. This course is subject to continuous assessment of participants practical first aid skills throughout the day by the tutor, there is no final exam. Delegates attending this course must bring a valid form of photographic I.D.
Course Price: £455.00 for a group of up to 12 people or £810.00 for a group of up to 24 people. We can split the course into 2 x 3½ hour sessions for an additional £140.00 plus VAT (12 candidates) or £280.00 plus VAT (24 candidates)
The course price includes tuition, all course materials, first aid handbook for each participant and certification.
